And thank you so much for this ...Happy anniversary! And thank you so much for this post. Today is my wedding anniversary too, we were married on June 2, 1984. 27 years is quite a feat in this day and age, but we can always make our relationship better by being reminded of what needs to be at the center. Have a wonderful celebration of your 10 years today!Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08045545867857921498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7668050648919046122.post-39028503830228738792011-06-02T13:58:43.238-04:002011-06-02T13:58:43.238-04:00Kristy, this is one of my favorite posts of all ti...Kristy, this is one of my favorite posts of all time. Lovely advice. I don't think I can add anything to that, except maybe from a second marriage point of view. If you are in a second marriage, like my husband and I, you have to be able to love his first children like your own~ and vice versa. My husband even went as far as adopting my two girls and giving them his name. Your advice about putting your spouse before your children still needs to be applied. It's even harder to remember to practice that in a marriage where the kids came before the spouse, but even more important because there are so many more outside factors (unsually, not favorable) involved in a second marriage. (As in, teenaged children and threatened exes.) It hasn't always been easy, but we've somehow managed to maintain this "blended family" for 21 years and counting. Wishing you both a very Happy Anniversary! You were a BEAUTIFUL bride! :)Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00571947128036699544noreply@blogger.com
