We continue to pray for you and Happy, everyday. At school, we have prayers before our faculty meetings and this was one that was shared last week. I thought that I would share it with you, too.
Guidance
When I mediated on the word guidance, I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word. I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
Even one person relaxes and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word guidance. When I saw the "G" I thought of God, followed by the "u" and "i." "God", "u", and "I" dance.
God, you, and I dance. This statement is what guidance means to me. As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

***I just thought this was a powerful, simple, way to think that God always has a plan, even though we are not sure at the time where He is taking us.
We love ya!
Lannea, Eric & NorahAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7668050648919046122.post-17876517848310053252008-01-16T17:03:00.000-05:002008-01-16T17:03:00.000-05:00We continue to pray and are just glad to see that ...We continue to pray and are just glad to see that his brain is still growing, that is a wonderful thing, even know the outcome is uncertain.
