I'm so glad that in the midst of your struggles you see the gifts you have been given and that God has not forgotten you. this morning in church we heard a sermon about Psalm 77. The psalmist wrote something that really resonates with us who have endured hardship, but he ends the psalm by reminding himself of all the things God has done in the past... when we are struggling we have to stop looking at the present or worrying about the future, but look at the past and all that God has done for us.
Blessings and hugs to you!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03902621165920708841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7668050648919046122.post-31645538235113330482010-03-14T11:27:09.528-04:002010-03-14T11:27:09.528-04:00just for the record:) Not one of your precious ch...just for the record:) Not one of your precious children are forgotten! I too look at families that mine would look like if Janie Beth were here, and right now as many of my pregnant friends have babies I often think about what they are doing and long to be doing it too.

I must change my perspective and focus on God. Hugs to you, my friend.
We are...Beautiful post. Hugs to you, my friend.

We are the family that walked around after Caleb's passing with a girl and four boys and so empty. I am that family that looks like we have everything that we could ask for. No one would even suspect, as they wouldn't with you either, that there is a deep sense of loss that will never go away.

Since Caleb died we have had another precious baby...a girl. We are still scarred by the loss of our dear sweet Caleb. Our family may look like a "perfect" family to some, but we are not and we are also very broken inside at times over our loss.

I have to remind myself, like you do, that we don't know other people's trials. We really don't know what is going on in their life/family/etc.

We also do know that God remembers each of us and will never let us down, as you so wonderfully put it...thanks for the reminder.

With love and hope,
Cheryl
We are NineCherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09995656964857816898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7668050648919046122.post-48398162018374675402010-03-13T21:41:43.607-05:002010-03-13T21:41:43.607-05:00Thank you for the post about this. I know that each person suffers some type of sorrow that deals with "did God forget me"? I know I have in a different way, but thank you so much for letting us hear your heart, but also knowing that God does not forget. And I just want you to know that He will never forget his children (the ones here and the ones above) and thank you for showing us that!! I've been having a rough week, with tears flowing so freely it was ridiculous, and, although I'm sorry you were feeling it too, it's nice to know that I'm not alone! Praying for you, and looking forward to the day when I can hug the mama of those five beautiful children :o)
Hugs,
AmandaJust Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13107897626295034178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7668050648919046122.post-79915393809829042472010-03-13T20:42:44.305-05:002010-03-13T20:42:44.305-05:00Beautiful post, Kristy...thank you for this remind...Beautiful post, Kristy...thank you for this reminder.
