Major Struggles

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to post real quick to apologize and to ask for prayer.

I am sorry I did not get to all of the things I had promised in my previous post. I still intend to do all of those things but right now "life" is happening in our home and we are having a very hard time of things.

First I must say that the kids are doing well, everyone is once again healthy and Luke is enjoying school and in all honesty though I miss Luke we are doing well with the school routine and I can already see a difference in Ben. Hope is doing great and I did get her three month picture with Birthday Lamby and will post it soon.

When we asked God for guidance and then decided to remain a one income family we knew we would struggle and we were okay with that. We make adjustments, but God always provides. Always.

Right now we are up against something that seems insurmountable though. It is a financial thing, a job thing, a scary thing. We are broken and weary and feeling beat down. We need for the Lord to move in a HUGE way in our home financially like this weekend or MAJOR changes will ensue.

I come to you today asking for your prayers for God's provision, Grace and Mercy. We are certain this will all work out one way or another and that God is in control of it all, yet sometimes it is really hard to let go and just give it all to Him. At this point we have no other choice. We know he will provide, but would covet your prayers on the matter.

Thank you all! We love you and are so thankful for your friendships!

I an sorry about your hard times. We to decided that a parent should stay home with the children. My children are know 18, 16 and 14 years old. I work now, but we are still trying to catch up from the years where I stayed home. We would not have changed it. My furniture is not has nice as others, we have worn second hand clothes. BUT my kids are well adjusted. Have played every sport they have wanted to. Our house is where their friends came and still come. Moncy is important, nice things would nice. But happy kids are the most important thing (even if they are teenagers.)

If I win the lottery this weekend, I know why...of course, that would require me PLAYING the lottery. Since I'm not sure I will be doing that, I will FOR SURE be sending love and prayers (and maybe also something that can be opened) your way. Try to enjoy the long weekend.

My daughter and her husband made the same decision when she became pregnant. They became involved with the Dave Ramsey program and have done wonderfully. In our college days, there was once where we honestly didn't know where the next meal would come from. God provided. He still does. I am praying for you!

Kristy
Praying for you all during this time. Glad to hear the children are well and you all are adjusting to sending Luke to school. Praying that once again you are filled with hope and reminded of God's faithfulness even during the tough times in your life. Praying He extends grace to you and your family at this time and works a miracle out in providing for your needs. As my two year old loves to sing " My God is so BIG, so STRONG and so MIGHTY, there is NOTHING my God cannot do... FOR YOU!"
May God's mighty hand reach down and remind you of his love and compassion.
