I am a 30 something year old mom of five precious boys and two sweet girls. Five of our children are here with us and two are in the arms of Jesus. Our sweet baby girl Hope was diagnosed with Dystrophic Epdermolysis Bullosa and our youngest son came to us through adoption, our youngest daughter through foster care, and I've recently been diagnosed with malignant melanoma the Lord has shown us just how Faithful He is. We will continue to Journey and follow Him where ever He leads. We feel very blessed that God chose us to be the parents of each of our kids, and we look forward to what He has in store for us in foster care!
I have never posted a comment before. i acctually just found your blog a couple of day ago. I just had to comment because that Picture is just beautiful. God bless you guys.
Kristy-Your family picture is beautiful! You are a blessed mom to 4 wonderful and precious boys....forever and always.
Thanks for sharing this picture with us and praising God for His faithfulness every step of the way...even in the midst of trying to get everyone to smile! :)
Thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog today. I really enjoy the Blog Around the World posts. Fun stuff! Your family picture is beautiful!!! It turned out perfectly.
I just wanted to say that I think the pictures are great. I really love the family one, but the two of the boys on the sidebar are a tie for the cutest! :-) I'm glad everything went well...I know that was hard for you, and I was praying. The outcome was fantastic, if you don't mind me saying so!
I wanted to tell you I have not forgotten about your wanting my tomato sauce recipe...it just seems as though I sit down to type it out to you and something tears me away from the computer every stinkin' time! Imagine that....
I will get it to you, I promise. It isn't difficult at all and makes really yummy results! Talk to you soon,
Krisy, that is beautiful. Did you know the photographer was going to do that with the pictures of Isaac and Asher? It is gorgous. I know you would much rather have a family portait with all your boys in your arms and on you lap, but this one seems like it is way closer then you expected. That is so great how she added them to the picture. It it truly beautiful.
Kristy! That picture is perfect. Ohmygoodness. How beautiful! I started crying as soon as I saw it. Your photographer is amazing! Just like you said, "There are just no words....."!

Wow! What a beautiful photo. How wonderful to have someone who could put it together for you. I don't comment often here, but I check up on you regularly. Just letting you know that I still pray for your family.
Oh Kristy, it's wonderful. I am so happy for this precious gift given to you. Peace, being able to take a full deep breathe just comes to mind for you as you look upon this beautiful picture.
That picture is so indescribable! What a beautiful family portrait. I also really love the other family one of you all leaning in on each other - very loving. Still praying for you all...
Kristy, The new picture of you and your 4 boys is simply beautiful. I love it. You look so pretty too! This picture must bring such joy to your heart. I haven't been blogging as much but I check on you all of the timei and love your posts. Your heart is so real and I love how you share it. I love you friend and continue to pray for you and your precious family. Love, Kim
I noticed you put the other photos in your "side bar"...they look GREAT! She did an amazing job (of course, when you have beautiful people to photograph, you can't REALLY go wrong, right?!) Can hardly wait to see the other 396...
The picture is beautiful. What a precious gift. I also wanted to share something with you that I thought was pretty insightful. I had GMA on this morning as we buzzed around getting kids ready for school and I usually half listen to it, but they had Elizabeth Edwards sharing about how she is coping with all the things that have happened in her life. I wasn't paying much attention until she talked about her son dying. She talked about how people are amazed that after all this time she is not "over it". Her response was "If I had lost my leg instead of my child would you ask me if I were over it yet?" It just put a different perspective on it for those that don't understand. You don't have to "get over" it. There will always be a part that is missing. The picture that you have is such a sweet blessing. Just to be able to see the family together even if the boys can't be in your arms. Hope you are all doing well and it's so great you were able to get some beautiful pictures.
Kristy, I am so glad that you got your family picture! It is absolutly wonderful! Thanks for showing it so everyone can see what a beautiful family you have!!
I agree there are no words to describe the beauty of the photo! WOW! Praising God for the gift He gave you through your photo shot!
I know the feeling of getting everyone to smile, look happy and at the camera all at once - not so easy! Yet, look at how beautifully she captured your family and the boys!
I am speechless. It is perfect. This picture will be treasured for many life times, I am sure. I just came upon your blog and stayed up late, reading your stories. My heart breaks for you and your family. You are one strong woman. You and your will be in my thoughts and prayers until the day comes that you are reunited with your beautiful precious boys. HUGS
Go ahead and mention my child, The one that died, you know. Don't worry about hurting me further. The depth of my pain doesn't show. Don't worry about making me cry. I'm already crying inside. Help me to heal by releasing The tears that I try to hide. I'm hurt when you just keep silent, Pretending she didn't exist. I'd rather you mention my child, Knowing that she has been missed. You asked me how I was doing. I say "pretty good" or "fine". But healing is something ongoing I feel it will take a lifetime. ~ Elizabeth Dent ~
