My Heart Overflows

Thank you all for continuing to check on me! I am doing ok. I have spent the last week trying hard to find a part time job to supplement our income. I do teach online, but am needing a bit more in the way of hours to meet our monthly budget. I have had no luck thus far but am confident that God will provide. He always does! :-)

I don't really have anything profound to say tonight, but Ben really caught me off guard tonight in the car on the way home from the grocery store, usually it is Luke, this time it was my little Ben. This child, this two year old red headed bundle of energy who made getting groceries a workout, sat in his carseat while his dad was pumping gas and he said, "Mom, I miss Asher." My heart stopped. I turned around and asked him to repeat himself, which he kindly did. I had heard him correctly. He said it plain as day. I told him I did too, and Luke piped up that he did also. Then Ben said, "but, mama, he gone...I not hold him anymore." I said, " I know baby. It is sad, but we can still love him." Ben then replied "yea, mama, we wuv (love) him and Jesus wuv him too." Yes He sure does, Ben, I replied through tears. He then went back to singing at the top of his lungs to the music.

I am so thankful for the children God has blessed me with. Each and every one! Such sweet hearts they have. My heart overflows.

Dear sweet Kristy, I'm so glad that your boys have so much love for each other and for God! I think it's a fantastic testimony to your faithfulness and love, and it's such an encouragement to me!

I hope everything is going well with your Bible study preparations. I'll be praying for you ladies on Wednesday... I'll be on the way to the doctor for a check-up that day, so it'll give me something else to think about on the drive and in the waiting room. :)

With love!
Megan

I haven't thought of any new "job ideas" lately, but will keep praying about that for you...

How wonderful is an "overflowing heart"! (and "So great!" that you were able to type those words..."So great!" was my "buzz phrase" yesterday...) :o) Count me in as someone who "wuvs" Asher too.

Hope your weekend was as "quiet" as you were thinking it would be.

Have a good night.
Take care,
Amanda

awww. It never ceases to amaze me what children can and do remember, how grown up they can sound at any given moment, and how when we least expect it they warm our hearts with something that is on their little minds at that moment.
HUGS to you and yours.
Thanks for sharing.

Precious sweet boy... Amazing what they come up with sometimes. I know that the Lord can lay certain things on their hearts and they speak so clearly... the Lord, speaking through them.

I love you friend!
Praying,
Kenzie

How sweet is that. I know for me my children will mention the touchiest of subjects and no matter what they say it always has truth in it. What a blessing that your boys are being raised with knoing a love for Issac and Asher. I know that there are so many hard days- I see this as good fruit from keeping Issac and Asher a part of your everyday lives.

U are blessed:) (Ben is the cutest:)

Oh, how sweet! Praise Father in Heaven for the beautiful sons he has let you keep on earth.
They will always remember their brothers. Good for you for keeping them part of your family in so many ways!

Oh, my heart just ached when I read that. It is amazing when they say things that seem far beyond their comprehension, huh? I remember Colin saying to me, "Mom? When is Jesus going to bring our baby back to us?"

That was hard to hear, but provided good teaching opportunity about how God loves us despite the fire we sometimes have to go through....

Thinking of you, and thankful with you for my children here on earth tonight.

Much love and prayers.

How sweet that your boys have not forgotten Asher. Children remember far more than we give them credit for.

Oh my, Kristy - the same tears were flowing down my cheeks as I read your post. How sweet and remarkable was that?! It's really truly amazing how little ones remember SO much and how they NEVER forget (not always a good thing - LOL!) Thank you for sharing that moment with us. You are truly blessed to have such sweet & loving boys. You should be very proud of them.

I wanted to let you know that your ears should have been burning this morning (as Suzie's should have been too) because at my MOPS group this morning; we had a small service for National Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day. One of the ladies in our group spoke of you & Suzie because of me adding you both to our prayer list several times within the last year. Please know that you were thought about and prayed for this morning. :o)

Take good care and good luck job hunting!

Love, Nicole
