Happy 2 Months Hope!

Benjamin still cannot get enough of her! I am pretty sure they are going to be best buds!

Okay, so here is another one of those bows, I SWORE I would never put on my child, yet look how absolutely scrumptious she looks! I LOVE it!

Hope and the "Birthday Lamby" at two months!

Oh my word! How can you not want to kiss those cheeks!?

Our baby girl turned two months old today! I cannot believe how she has grown! She is still comfortably in 0-3 month clothes, but the newborn ones have been packed away and I will admit tears were shed as they were packed...and the tears did not belong to Hope or a male member of our household. She is still nursing great and is growing like crazy. She is spending more time awake and is so alert, but is a bit of a diva. She commands our attention at all times. She will not stand for multitasking when one of your tasks is to snuggle her.

She is smiling quite a bit but she sure makes us work for those smiles. She is doing great with the Prevacid. (the trick I found to work was just to put the half tab in a baby spoon and add a couple drops of water and just feed it to her that way) So thank you all for your suggestions. I am so grateful so many of you were willing to share your knowledge with us.

Praise God, Hope still has not had any blistering or any need for wrapping or bandaging. She does have a heat rash that seems to come and go, which the doctor said is typical for babies this time of year. She also does seem to scratch easily so we have to be sure to keep her nails trimmed and mittens on her in the car. She HATES the car, she screams in the car, she thrashes in the car. I think it may have to do with the fact that we drive a Scion XB and the three children are like little sardines across the backseat. It may seem cozy, but when Luke and Ben decide to UFC style fight while buckled in, it may make her a little uneasy. Maybe. But I suppose she will adjust to growing up with two crazy brothers!

She is basically happy when being held, especially when wrapped in her Miracle Blanket or in the Baby Bjorn. She is a joy to have and we are certainly blessed. We are so grateful for the children God has blessed us with. Please continue to pray for sweet Hope. The Lord is definitely working in her! To look at her you would NEVER know she has EB! We thank Him for an amazing two months and pray for many more to come!

Happy 2 month bday Hope, you are such a doll. I love the headband bow, we surely didn't have these things when I was a kid, well it was made out of yarn, lol. Don't you just love when they hate the car??? You find yourself stuck in the house just to avoid the fight.

A friend of mine used to cry all the time while in the car when she was a baby. (So her mom says) She gets car sick very easily and they now think that was what was wrong with her when she was a baby.

Great news about no blistering! That is wonderful. She is so beautiful!

You should make a little gallery to put all her pictures in where she is with the lamb. That way we can see how much she has grown by comparing them right there together! After a year has passed you should make a big collage of them! Wish I would have thought of that!

Praying for your family always

First sorry for posting this here:) I tried sendign it to kbolt01@gmail.com and it came back:-)
I have been following your blog for quite a while. I just read on your twitter about potty training.
My son turned 3 in july and I too have struggled with the whole potty training thing. So what I ended up doing was just letting him take the lead, and as soon
as I did he trained himself!!! I just stopped pushing, I would ask in the morning and if he went I would jump up and down and get all excited if he didn't I would say that that was ok. Then I would ask him if he wants big boy undies or a pull up. I went with whatever he said. And now he is trained, poop and all in less than a weeks time. I guess we could still have set backs but it has been a couple of weeks and he is doing fantastic.PS where did you get that pink and brown bow? She is just precious:-)=
