Uncooperative...but could it be?

I know many of you have been just dying to know the gender of the newest Bolte baby so here you have it...you are all so intuitive! She is a girl! We kind of thought so, at our 17 week ultrasound they really thought girl but wanted to confirm. She is extremely uncooperative and these are the ONLY two photos we got despite a sonogram technician who tried very hard. She just would NOT look in the right direction. So the first one is a picture of her ear and the second if you look closely you can see her face, but she was moving so it is a bit blurry.
We are still trying to grasp the idea of girliness, but I am sure we will fall right into it the moment we see her!
It is just so funny to me...this entire pregnancy I have felt that God has been telling me that He is doing a NEW thing and here you have it...it could not be any newer than this! :-)

Congratulations!! Must be something about #5...We have 4 boys and just found out this week that #5 is a girl (well, 99.9% sure is what the u/s tech said). We are so excited, as I'm sure you are! What do the boys think about a sister??

Oh Kristy, I am so excited for you!!! I am most excited and praising God that your baby is healthy of course, but of course I am also excited that you are having a GIRL!!!! It is going to be so fun! Girl stuff is great! And for her to be the little princess with 4 big brothers watching out for her and over her, oh my goodness, she will be the PRINCESS! (and I am sure that all of Heaven and Earth will know of this gorgous baby sister!) For a little girl to have 2 brothers watching out for her in heaven and 2 here on earth, nobody better mess with that girl! ha ha, she will be protected beyond measure! I can't wait to hear some of the names you have. Congrats to all of you.

Congratulations! And the extras you added to her pics are so cute! Get used to bows and flowers and all things frilly! She may not care for them, but then again, she may! :)
And she's already showing her precious personality: shy (not difficult!).

Oh how fun - a little girl!

Praising God for the wonderful report on her!

Praising God for making all things new!

Praying for the rest of your pregnancy and the relationship you will learn to enjoy over time. God will restore all that was hard for you when you were young Kristi!

I can share that from my own experience. Although my mother was and is still alive - she was not there for me and through each of our blessings - especially our daughters God has used them to heal the places deep inside of me that hurt too much to ever show anyone. I look forward to the post when you say - she is perfect, my love for her is perfect and the joy she brings has erased everything I didn't understand.

Blessings and joy!
Jill
