I am a 30 something year old mom of five precious boys and two sweet girls. Five of our children are here with us and two are in the arms of Jesus. Our sweet baby girl Hope was diagnosed with Dystrophic Epdermolysis Bullosa and our youngest son came to us through adoption, our youngest daughter through foster care, and I've recently been diagnosed with malignant melanoma the Lord has shown us just how Faithful He is. We will continue to Journey and follow Him where ever He leads. We feel very blessed that God chose us to be the parents of each of our kids, and we look forward to what He has in store for us in foster care!
Kristy, she's so lovely! I'm so glad that she seems to be doing so well - you have all been in my thoughts and prayers so often. I have to ask - how do you get that little bow to stay in her hair, as she doesn't look to have enough hair to clip it into? I've seen lots of little baby girls on American blogs with those cute little bows, but I have no idea how you guys in the US get them to stay on! I think it must be something that we haven't discovered here in the UK! (Not that I have a baby girl to put bows on yet, but I live in hope!) With love from across the pond XXX
Those pictures are absolutely adorable!!! I love the one of her and Ben. SO SWEET!!! We are so glad things are going well and we will continue to pray for peace!!!
You can tell Hope is growing. What a cutie. I thought of your family while shopping in the baby dept this week. I saw the little gowns that are open bottomed with a little elastic made by Carter and they have the little folds to put over their hands. They say to 3 months, though I am sure she would outgrow them before that.
there's never too many pictures!!! My youngest is a year and a half now and I miss that baby stage so much!!! Although he's so much fun and SUCH a goofball!!!! Hope is gorgeous! I love the way your son is loving on her!
I am still praying for your beautiful girl. I am so glad to see how much your family is blessed by her arrival. All of your children are blessed to have you as their mommy :)
Go ahead and mention my child, The one that died, you know. Don't worry about hurting me further. The depth of my pain doesn't show. Don't worry about making me cry. I'm already crying inside. Help me to heal by releasing The tears that I try to hide. I'm hurt when you just keep silent, Pretending she didn't exist. I'd rather you mention my child, Knowing that she has been missed. You asked me how I was doing. I say "pretty good" or "fine". But healing is something ongoing I feel it will take a lifetime. ~ Elizabeth Dent ~

The picture of Ben with her is too sweet for words. You can tell how much he loves her just by looking in his eyes. What a lucky girl!
