I have spoken with the doctor and she is not concerned at the moment. It seems that when a child Ben's age has a catheter in for a long period and doesn't know to sit still it can irritate the bladder and cause spasms. This is what they think is happening. She suggested giving him his pain meds and putting him to bed. So I just finished rocking him and he is resting peacefully for now.
I ask that you continue to pray for him tomorrow as we will be seeing the doctor to have the catheter removed. I am very thankful it will be gone, but it will likely panic Ben and we will have to wait there until they are sure his bladder is working and he can urinate on his own.
Thank you all!

Dear Kristy,
I am so sorry this is another thing you must go through. Praying that all is well with your Ben.
I see your pictures from your trip and am so glad you got to go and have a good time. I see the group of women you are with: they are all so lovely, and, from the outside, it looks like a group I would want to be a part of. Then I remember all of your sadness and realize how close I was to being part of your group of moms without babies. Though I can bearly read the blogs at time from sadness, I am also eternally grateful for my daughter, and I hug her a little tighter. Last night, all I could think of was "Thank you God that we didn't have to bury our daughter."
(I really hope this comes across with the love that is intended.)
Thank you for your beauty! Thank you for your faith! Thank you for posting and reminding me of what I have before me now. I will love my kids a little deeper and spend that extra minute with them tonight, all because of you! Love,MELANIE

Dear Kristy,
I came across your blog tonight after reading of your weekend in Tristan's blog. I'd heard of Happy before, and in fact prayed for him after Chrissy's request on Eva's blog... but I'd never ventured to your site.
My heart broke reading through so many of your posts this evening... and yet I stand amazed and in awe of your incredible faith and witness. God is truly working in your life. Thank you so much for sharing your story.
Kristy,
Praying for Ben...
Hi Kristy,
I am praying for Ben as he gets his catheter out today and for him to be calm. Also praying for him to pee up a storm to show all systems are working.:) Praying for you too! Have a wonderful 4th of July.
