Thank you for your prayers

I just want to take a minute and thank each of you for continuing to pray for our family! We truly feel the prayer and are so thankful to have so many people loving us and carrying us to Jesus when we are to weary to carry ourselves. Today Howard is on basement clean up duty. I have some family here helping with the boys. Hopefully we can get it done today and rest a bit this weekend. I know howard is looking forward to the Duke/NC game!

I also must say that though I am feeling a bit discouraged I do know that God is here and that he will carry us through all of this. It is just tough to understand sometimes. Today I am thankful for electricity and for our dear family and friends! I am always amazed at how at the lowest points God always puts the right person in our path to help be His hands and feet! I thank all of you who are so willing to be used as such! We love you!

Just wanted to let you know that I pray for you often!

I also wanted to pass along the address to a blog of a friend of mine. Her husband died in a car accident in July and her courageous vulnerability through her grieving journey is amazing to read. She posted a story called Tear Soup on October 19 and it is well worth the read. Be patient with yourself, let yourself grieve.

In Him,

here is the link to her blog...

Hi Kristy,

I am so glad to hear that the electricity is back on and clean up is getting done. I am praying for you on this overwhelming journey of ups and downs and asking Gods blessings all over you. I am so glad to hear you have help. Any of us could be in your position and really appreciate the help. I sure am hoping you all get the desired rest that you need this weekend. Peace and Love to you this day.

Love, Laurie in Ca.

Still Praying here and thanking God for those he has sent over to your house to help care for the boys and help your husband clean up the mess. Praying for you that God continues to comfort your heart.

You don't know me, but I stumbled across your blogsite through a friend, and wanted to let you know I am praying for you. When it rains, it pours...I'm so glad your electricity is back. I just viewed the slideshow of your precious baby boy- he is beautiful. My heart breaks for you, and I pray that God will heal your hearts as you grieve for your little guy.

Stumbled on your blog through a friend of a friends blog. Anyway, just wanted to you to know that someone in Missouri, who you probably will never meet this side of heaven, is praying for you.
As I was praying for you, I thought you have a very unique situation. You can appreciate salvation in a more unique way than most of us - God, the Father, also lost His
Son. Of course, His loss is our gain, but we know the pain that He faced in giving his only, very-much loved Son for us. Just a thought.
Again, praying for you.

I weekly visit a blog called 'FaithfulFroggers'.. Frog stands for fully rely on God. It is written by a mom who lost one of their triplet sons to a rare form of childhood cancer two years ago. She was sharing about joy a few weeks ago and states that "Joy is the unshakable assurance that God is in control of all the depths of my life. It is the quiet confidence that ultimately everything will be alright, and the determined purpose to ultimately praise God in all things." I continue to pray for your family and praise Him for the joy Asher brought you for those moments.

(sorry this one WILL be long:)

Yesterday afternoon I was talking with one of my dear friends on the phone- She has been the one that I always call and ask her to pray for something or when I feel lost in an area she is just one of thoes people who always knows the right thing to pray for. We met about 3.5 years ago- she was pretty new to our church and I knew she was not real plugged in. I felt led to call and say hi- in our conversation it came out that Chris and I were trying to get pregnant (we were with my Emma just did not know it yet) and she was almost 3 mo. pregnant with her baby. She came to tell me in that conversation of 2 babies she had lost prior to that pregnancy and was praying hard to have a healthy baby. Her first loss was a 18 week pre-term delivery. They did not do a lot for her at the time to give her any relief that it was not going to happen again. Not to mention the fact that everytime the have gotten pregnant it has taken no less than 12 mo. on each of them. Her 2nd baby was delivered at 21-22 weeks and she had been very sick with some sort of blood infection and Bailey sadly could not handle the treatment required to keep Cindy alive. So the reason I tell you all of this is because since I have know Cindy- its been a part of our relationship. You have been so heavy on my heart and I want so badly to bring something to you. So it dawns on me that this is an area that Cindy is now able to minister in. She has talked and worked with many moms who have lost a child and gives her testimony of her great journey. So I tell her about your story and about both of your sons Isaac & Asher and how perfect and how beautifull and the pictures, the journey through pregnancy pretty much just told her what I know of you from your blog. I than asked her to please pray with me to find a way to say or do something to bless you. She started crying and said the thing that ment and means the most to her (and her last baby that died was 5 years ago)- is to know that someone is talking about her children. Someone else other than her is thinking of them. Someone else things they were precious and perfect. She claimed this brought her the most peace, the most rest, and the most joy (and it still does). I dont know if you feel the same way but I want you to know that I have told my friends and family about both of your sons in heaven and on earth. All said that I hope this too brings a little light to your day.

I do have another really cool true story to you about- but not feeling like its the time just yet. I think will bless you:)
