I am a 30 something year old mom of five precious boys and two sweet girls. Five of our children are here with us and two are in the arms of Jesus. Our sweet baby girl Hope was diagnosed with Dystrophic Epdermolysis Bullosa and our youngest son came to us through adoption, our youngest daughter through foster care, and I've recently been diagnosed with malignant melanoma the Lord has shown us just how Faithful He is. We will continue to Journey and follow Him where ever He leads. We feel very blessed that God chose us to be the parents of each of our kids, and we look forward to what He has in store for us in foster care!
I was on my way to bed, and realized that i hadn't emailed you yet to say Happy Mother's Day!!
I haven't been online too much in the last few days, but wanted to take a minute to catch up on your blog when i saw all the posts. Tell that husband of yours that the frame with all the boys pictures that he made is BEAUTIFUL!! What a thoughtful and creative gift! I'm sorry i can't write more tonight, i'm soo exhausted lately! Only a few more days, then i'll work towards full strength again!!
Such a sweet mother you are! "Happy Mothers Day" to you too! I see that it was bless with those sweet gifts to treasure! Thinking of you in Colorado! Tam
HI Kristy, Thanks for the comment last night. Yesterday was bitter sweet and I thought of all of us and what each one may be feeling. I prayed for you yesterday. You are an amazing person, woman, friend, wife but especially mother of 4 precious boys! Praise Jesus for our babies. With love, Kim
I just wanted to leave you a note to let you know how touched I was by your blog. My heart aches after spending at least a couple hours reading it, but it has been a blessing and has given me some much needed intimacy with our Heavenly Father. It's caused me to treasure my baby boy that much more, but it's also served as a reminder that he is not "mine" and no matter how incredible and unending I feel my love is for him, the Lord loves him even more. (I tend to be a worry wart and that is something that keeps me in the right perspective.) Thank you for sharing and witnessing through your blog, whether you knew it or not. ;o)
What beautiful gifts and what an amazing family you have! I have been so blessed by you as you continue to share this journey of yours and I am so thankful for your friendship!
Praying for a wonderful week and that you continue to feel so loved and surrounded! Kenzie
I love the picture frames! I think its about the most romantic thing that a husband can do for his wife is make something personal and oh so meaningfull. I read your last post as well on things to be thinkful for and as I know that its impossible to list them all the one that came to my mind. Even though you said it in a round about way. The Lord has already put into place something that you can not even imagine the greatness and fullness that it will bring to your lives. You are so very blessed to have your sweet husband. I dont know how else to say this other than to spill my own stuff out. My husband and I have had a "bit" not a lot but a bit of a hard time for the past year. I pray, he prays we do everything we know of that we can do to get back to that peace filled place we call love in our marriage. The valley has been dry and hard but WE R BRING LIFTED UP! The great news and I know this is not applied to you and Howard (but maybe it does in other areas). HE can change it on a dime! With the blink of an eye. He can restore ANYTHING at ANYTIME (rememeber thats all by his plan not ours). With out getting to personal- press into the love that the Lord has blessed your marriage with. Remember every day above all your hurts to tell howard how greatful you are for being blessed with a STRONG and GODLY man to carry you right now. You are an amazing mommy to all 4 of your children. I see it here on this blog. You are an amazing wife to Howard by sharing his greatness on here. So many of us who read or who will read in the future- we are blessed because you waited for Happy- we are blessed knowing that God made the choice to bless and trusted you and Howard to be his parents. We are blessed because He allowed and placed us in the right space at the right time to stand for and with you. Kristy- your a beautiful, wonderfull mommy and wife and I pray that the Lord continues to bless you with His presence in your life, that He continues to lead the way, that He continues to love and comfort you with whom ever he chooses! I know im always long winded but I just honnor you as a momomy and a wife and YOU need to hear that you are a blessing in many many ways!
Go ahead and mention my child, The one that died, you know. Don't worry about hurting me further. The depth of my pain doesn't show. Don't worry about making me cry. I'm already crying inside. Help me to heal by releasing The tears that I try to hide. I'm hurt when you just keep silent, Pretending she didn't exist. I'd rather you mention my child, Knowing that she has been missed. You asked me how I was doing. I say "pretty good" or "fine". But healing is something ongoing I feel it will take a lifetime. ~ Elizabeth Dent ~

Beautiful! You were in my prayers on Sunday and I am glad you got to enjoy the day.
What awesome gifts. I loved the frame your hubby did up of the boys. What a wonder keepsake. Tell your hubby he rocks. Happy Belated Mother's Day.
