Praising God for Good News
I don't have much time to write as I am on my way to pick up the boys, but I just wanted to let you all know that our little girl is just fine. EVERY measurement came back PERFECT! We are elated and celebrating this evening! I will write a longer post later detailing the blessings of the day! Thank you all for praying!

I am praising God with you! I am so Thankful you went to Pittsburgh. You didn't have to wait the dreaded 2 weeks. I have had 2 miscarriages and then a full term stillbirth this past October and cannot imagine losing 2 full term babies. I am grieving, but God is so good and helping me through. I have been reading your blog before I knew I was pregnant with Faith, and you have actually helped me through this even though you don't know that. Thank You for sharing your story. I continue to keep you in my prayers along with that baby girl! Hold on to Jesus!

I am so thrilled and thankful I can hardly sit still!! I hope you will sleep like the baby girl within tonight, peaceful, perfect and loved. I am so thankful you know this now and will not be waiting for 2 weeks. God is so wonderful in hearing and answering each and every prayer for this baby girl. Maybe now you will maybe go get the paint for the nursery?:) I sure do love you girl. I'll bet Howard is dancing for joy too.

That is the greatest news. We are all praising God. That little girl is just keeping you on your toes. They always say having a girl is completely different then a boy. God and her have their plan and before you know she'll be here - happy and healthy. Hope you went out and picked up your paint. We'll continue to pray and follow.

I just found your blog. And I feel your pain. 33 years ago I was waiting for a little girl to be born after giving birth to a little girl who only lived 22 hours, and then a year later to a little boy who only lived 36 hours. Both were preemies - the specialists only hoped for 4 to 5 pounds and hopefully 8 months for this little girl with all they could do. God let me carry her 9 months and she weighed 9 1/2 pounds! And life was good. In 2004 she gave birth to a beautiful little girl. Put my fears to rest. Then in November, 2007, her second little girl was stillborn. And all my fears returned. She unexpectly got pregnant right away - we found out in May, 2008, a new baby was due in December. And the fear started again threefold - even though, as you do, we knew God would ultimately be with us - we fear the pain and the sorrow. There was NO nursery, just a bassinet. Fear. (Too many painful memories of taking the last one down and returning items, and taking things to charities) And on December 4, a beautiful little girl was born. And we celebrated complete relief - for about thirty minutes - and they discovered she had breating problems and was taken to the NICU. But God did deliver. :-) Her breathing problems were temporary, and she was able to come home 3 days later. And she had "silent" reflux which is really not silent at all - caused her to choke and gurgle when she was laying down. I'm sure you know what that did - we could barely sleep for fear her breathing was compromised. And all those memories help me understand your "ant under the magnifying glass" feelings! She is healthy and almost four months old now - and we are starting to rest a little better! I am absolutely THRILLED that your doctor's appointment gave good news!!! If there are little setbacks, don't let them make you distraught. We can't know God's plan - we can know it is for our good - and we can know that we can only comfort someone else when we have suffered ourselves and needed and received such comfort. You will be an undeniable comfort to someone someday for having endured your pain and living to tell about God's goodness after the pain! God bless - you and that little girl!
