Struggles for today...

I must say that I do feel a sense of peace about me today so I thank you all for your prayers, they are working. The main thing I want to convey is that for all of you who have prayed and prayed for us please do not for one minute think that God is not responding. HE IS! Sometimes God does not deliver us from a situation because that situation is vital to His plan. I am certainly not saying that it is not possible for God to completely pull us out of this, but if he doesn't I do not want anyone to think that it is because He is not listening. We are going to continue to pray for God to heal our baby, but as of right now we have no indication that that is happening. We are not giving up. Even if this baby is not healed, a mighty thing is about to happen we are sure of it.

We want God to use us as HE sees fit. This is certainly not a path we would have ever chosen for ourselves but the reality of life is that we don't get to choose the path. We do however get to choose how we respond to God. We are not sure what God has in store and right now we feel it is just important to remain in prayer and be still and listen to what He might have to tell us. So friends, please do not lose hope...The good news is that there was some growth...not what we had hoped but is certainly something. No matter what God has planned for Happy we want to make his time on this earth so incredibly full of love. I know that he already feels the love from all of you and we are so grateful! So please keep up the prayers! God is at work here and we know good things are to come!

Kristy and Howard,
Missy and I are meeting this morning and will be praying for you and your family. It is very evident that God is working for good in your lives.

Prayers continue for you and your family from here. I have learned to continue praying no matter what is going on. God says to pray without ceasing and I know He is working this out for you in His time. Hope is big, and I am so glad He is holding you up and watching Happy's every heartbeat. He will bring you through.
Peace and Love to you today,
Laurie in Ca.

We continue to pray and are just glad to see that his brain is still growing, that is a wonderful thing, even know the outcome is uncertain. God is giving you the strength you need to keep going. Know we are supporting you 110%, I wish I could to more to help.

Kristy, I'm glad there was growth, I know not as much as we were all praying for, though. We continue to pray for you and Happy, everyday. At school, we have prayers before our faculty meetings and this was one that was shared last week. I thought that I would share it with you, too.
When I mediated on the word guidance, I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word. I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
Even one person relaxes and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word guidance. When I saw the "G" I thought of God, followed by the "u" and "i." "God", "u", and "I" dance.
God, you, and I dance. This statement is what guidance means to me. As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

***I just thought this was a powerful, simple, way to think that God always has a plan, even though we are not sure at the time where He is taking us.
We love ya!
