how beautiful !

Thanks so much for allowing us to see that precious face. I will not try to pretend I can even imagine what you and your Momma's heart are going through - I will just say that from one Momma to another I send you hugs and prayers for your healing. You are a strong and courageous woman and the choice you made to give Asher the diginity and the right to be held and be loved - even for that short time makes you a hero to me.

In His Love

JUlia:)

Thank you for sharing the pictures of your dear little Asher. The Heavenly Father must be singing over him now. Thank you for sharing your grieving journey. The valley is dark, but the Lord will carry you through.

He will shield you with his wings. He will shelter you with his feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and your protection. Psalm 91:4

Oh my... so tiny. I love the picture of his little feet. Thank you for sharing all of the pictures with us. Each and everyone of them are just so precious.

There's a Mom in my MOPS group who has a little boy named Asher (who's also my son's age) and I will always think of YOUR Asher when I hear or see his name.

Still thinking of you often and praying for inner peace. I also pray that your body heals quickly so that you won't have that pain to deal with as well.

Take good care, Nicole

Here's one more poem that I came across and I hope you don't mind me sharing it with you.

When a Baby is Born

When a baby is born,
God lifts a star from the
heavens and slips it
into the pocket of your
heart's memories.

Its first glow is never forgotten
and as each star in
the heavens has its own
place - your child has his
within your heart.

May God Bless You, Asher.

Hoping you sleep a little better tonight.

I'm seconding Juju's words ... you are to be commended for giving this precious boy a chance to live. Only God knows why some of His gifts get to be enjoyed for such a short time, but I am praying that His peace will fill your heart today and in the days to come.

Thanks so much for sharing pictures of your precious Asher with us.

We have never met and I happened to see a link to your blog through another blog. I just wanted to say that your son is beautiful and so very perfect. I am so sorry that he was not able to stay with you on this earth. I cannot even begin to imagine your grief and I know that there are no words that can make how you are feeling better.

Blessings to you and your family.
